“The sovereignty of God is his absolute right and power to dispose of all creatures according to his own will. This sovereignty is inherent in his divine nature and is not contingent upon any external factors. God exercises his sovereignty with perfect wisdom, righteousness, and love, directing all things according to the counsel of his will. He does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth. None can stay his hand or say to him, ‘What have you done?’ In recognizing God’s sovereignty, we find assurance and comfort, knowing that he governs all things for his glory and the ultimate good of his people.”
