John Bunyan:
“Paganism, with its false gods and idolatrous practices, is a grave danger to the souls of men, leading them astray from the path of righteousness and into the darkness of spiritual bondage. The Puritan must wage war against the forces of paganism, tearing down the strongholds of idolatry and superstition with the weapons of truth and righteousness.
